Adults
Adult Ministries at PCOC
Adults of all ages will find many ministries geared for them at Plymouth Church of Christ. Here are some of the groups you may join and interact with:
Women’s Ministries
- The Myrtle Williams Ladies Aid meets on the first Monday of each month at 1:30PM. They plan and carry out several projects, trips, social gatherings and special programs during the year.
- The Katie Staley Ladies Aid meets on Tuesday after the first Sunday each month at 7:00PM. Their calendar is filled with programs and outreach efforts that enhance the ministry of the church.
- The Faithful Friends Ladies Aid meets at 6:30PM on the second Monday of each month. They contribute to many service projects in the church, including an annual retreat for ladies.
Men’s Ministries
Our Men’s Fellowship group is called “The Carpenter’s Crew”. Their mission statement is “Building better men for Christ through fellowship, study and service.” They meet on the third Monday of each month at 6:30PM. Many work projects are conducted for the church and the community.
Senior Saints
This is a monthly fellowship for Christian men and women 55-years-old and above. These “recycled teenagers” meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 12:00PM. They are involved in many trips, service projects and outreaches.
Sunshiners
Composed primarily, (but not exclusively), of ladies, these faithful servants provide a vital ministry to our shut-ins, widows and widowers. Each month there is a transition to a different person to provide some sunshine in their life.
Music
Worship at PCOC consists of a blended song service that features both traditional and contemporary music. We have a praise band. Special music is presented in our services. Uplifting music plays an important role in our worship of God. Our adult choir presents cantatas and special music throughout the year.
